I‘m on a roll…. For now 🤣 #hauntedshelf #flerken #wordsearch #crisp @PuddleJumper
I greatly enjoyed this Tommy and Tuppence novel, which was as much of a spy thriller as mystery. I loved Tuppence's cleverness, and Hugh Fraser's narration of the audiobook was perfect.

Seasonal Recs! #ihavequestions
Spring: Absent in the Spring by Mary Westmacott/Agatha Christie—It‘s in the title…😁
Summer: Mama Day by Gloria Naylor—major summer vibes: like a powerful, looming summer thunderstorm
Fall: Peace Like a River by Leif Enger—fall vibes, with a journey across the frozen Badlands
Winter: The Historian—I read this in winter in Germany so it‘s forever associated with snowy landscapes (and very effective blackout shutters)
This was a decent first in the series (#SeriesLove2024) featuring Agatha Christie‘s housekeeper, Phyllida Bright. It was a Christie meets Upstairs/Downstairs. I liked Bright and the other characters and look forward to more in the series.
School started three weeks ago, with it my daily commute of almost two hours as well. So, I started to listen to audiosbooks again. I really enjoyed this one by Christie because it is not a typical setting for her and I am addicted to Old Egypt. She portrayed the Old Egyptian beliefs of the ghosts of the dead and superstitions well. And I did not expect the ending. 𓂀𓂀𓂀

I‘m in the Cotswolds!!! I had to do a little bit of research because the name of the town is a fictional place, but apparently it‘s based on a Cotswold village.
