The guard dog from Swindle. I love this book. It is so much fun. And the dog is on the cover for every book in the series. #octphotochallenge

Well, I'm a couple days late for this one! Nonetheless, while I adore #catsoflitsy and cat emojis are better than the lame one we have for dogs, I am whole-heartedly a dog person. Hence my choice lies with Edgar Sawtelle and the dogs he cares for. #catsvsdogs #octphotochallenge

I know, I am too late for #catsvsdogs but until now I didn't know what to post.
But how could I forget Oberon, dog sidekick in the Iron Druid Chronicles, lover of meat and poodles and also provider of pop-culture references?
Rowl in The Cinder Spires book 1, the Aeronaut's Windlass, was one of the most cat-like cats i have read about and also had an important role in the story. 🐶🐺😍

This was a super hard question, but I eventually settled on a cat. In The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices, and The Dark Artifices all contain a pretty awesome cat. Church 😻

He is only a minor supporting character, but oozes sarcasm and aloofness, while also seeming to be scarily intelligent and long lived! And we can't forget to mention Magnus Bane's cat Chairman Meow 🙃

I devoured these books as a child, I read every one my local library system could get their hands on for me, his adventures with his master Tintin made me dream of traveling the world and solving mysteries.

I'm not really an animal person, but for #CatsVsDogs I have to go with Searchlight, the loyal sled dog from Stone Fox. #OctPhotoChallenge
