On my first re-read of Outlander since I read them all last year, and just come across this gem! Geillis Duncan has a grimoire from the Comte St Germain!! 😱😱 I absolutely love finding little tidbits like this during re-reads of a series! 👍🏻

Oh my lord, so freaking good! The team that is Ilona Andrews, are master world builders. Right from the start I could tell this was going to be good, and the more detail we got the less I could put it down. I wish I had waited and read all 3 together, as now I have to wait to find out what happens next!!

Grandma Frida is a new fave. 👌🏻

This book was completely daft, romantic and funny, and I really enjoyed it! I can't believe this is the first Tessa Dare book I've ever read, but it certainly won't be the last!

This was ok. I liked the characters, but there were so many wrong assumptions on both their parts, which got quite frustrating towards the end.

Another morning, another new book to start with breakfast. 🙃 I absolutely love this series so was very pleased when it popped up in my library yesterday!

A definite pick! Interesting characters, and so beautifully descriptive - I could practically smell the azaleas and the lilac. I'm so glad that I wasn't familiar with the story before, because it made it that much more enjoyable to read. 👌🏻

I'm about to start Rebecca for the first time. I don't know why it has taken me so long to start this, I bought this book for Q9 from a car boot sale about 4 years ago... I'm expecting good things! (It feels very weird spelling Rebecca that way!)

This beautifully written book is an essay on pain and loss and love, and all those things we feel but hate ourselves for. That heavy weight on your chest when you lose someone and can't express yourself. Those tears you need to cry, but can't. A must read for everyone.

It's dead at work today, and I've finished my paperback so starting this which has been sat on my phone ready to read for a while! 👍🏻

Another brilliant selection of short stories in my favourite universe! I especially enjoyed The Puppy Plan and Baby Boom. I love seeing all these characters throughout their lives after having read about them for so many years. ❤

Continuing to make my way through my real book tbr pile, before it gets taller than me! 🤣

A really unique read. I found it slow going to begin with, but by the time I got about 30% in, the different threads started to weave into something interesting. Definitely a book for people who like something a little unusual.

For a smart woman, Violet is incredibly thick when it comes to her love life! I found it a little bit frustrating... I hoped for more from this book as I'd loved what little we'd seen of Violet in the other books. Sebastian was lovely and kind of saved it for me! Overall a pick, as there's no option between that and so-so.

Lovely! This was a "I'm staying up until 2am to read this as it's bloody awesome" book. Jane was a delight to read about - someone who absolutely doesn't give a flying fig about what people think about her. Her connection with Oliver was off the charts hot - can't blame her either, I have a real soft spot for a red-headed man! He was a bit obstinate, but he got there in the end. A definite winner! ??

Lovely in between novella, I really like that all her characters are a little bit flawed.

New year, same series! Continuing with Courtney Milan who is fast becoming a favourite. 😊

That's a lot of pages read! But reading the whole Outlander series probably makes up most of those pages 😂

I really enjoyed this. Robert and Minnie were so sweet together, and I enjoyed that it wasn't strictly "society".
