I went into this seeing mostly 5-star reviews, which is always a lot to live up to. It took me a bit to get into it, but by about the halfway mark I was engrossed. Stories like this amaze me, considering it all comes from the author‘s imagination. This is fantasy with rich world-building and beautiful prose. And IMO, two great main characters. I especially love Lazlo. I don‘t want to give away any spoilers. Can‘t wait for the sequel! 🔽TBC below:

JenlovesJT47 I would rate this at 4.5 ⭐️ - I felt it was a little drawn out and sometimes it took 3 pages to tell something that could be told in 1. Other than that, I would highly recommend this. Apologies to the #breakfastbookclub - I‘m a couple of days late mailing it but it‘s going out today. I had to finish it! 😱 7y
