#readjanuary #booksbyasianauthors Had to pick the Crazy Rich Asians series by Kevin Kwan. So much fun, and I can't wait for the third and final book, Rich People Problems. #booksbyasianwriters
#ReadJanuary #BooksByAsianAuthors 🦇 I've been enjoying the Vampire Hunter D series, after first seeing the anime movie. The awesomely cool illustrations, are by the Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano. The D stories of Hideyuki Kikuchi mix creature horror and steampunk sci-fi to the epic best!
My #tbr #booksbyasianauthors - I have some more squirreled away on my shelves; these were immediately handy (because I'm reading them relatively soon) 😄 #readjanuary
When you have a Chinese minor, love Murakami and are general obsessed with Asia, your #booksbyasianauthors shelf is a bit much. While composing this shot, my husband told me (he grew up in China and has a deeper understanding of these books) that the author of Outlaws of the Marsh was the teacher to the author of Romance of the a Three Kingdoms.
Some #BooksByAsianAuthors that are very high on my #TBR list 📚

Here are my #readjanuary picks for #booksbyasianauthors. I still have to read the Liu book from her fantastic Hunter Kiss urban fantasy series, and the latest installment of Vinland Saga. Sorcerer to the Crown was excellent and unexpected and I highly recommend it.
So there's Murakami that comes to mind for #booksbyasianauthors - but for me Vikram Seth absolutely stand out, I've read everything by him, fiction, non-fiction & his incredible poetry.
An Equal Music is one of my all-time-favs. It brings together my fascination with classical music, my love of London and most of all - a well written deeply moving love story ❤️🎶
btw - does anyone recognize the bookmark?? Denver's finest 💎

I really like Japanese and Indian literature and I am looking forward to continue exploring books by authors from other Asian countries. Happy Year of the Rooster!
