This strong endorsement from #MaryKubica made this book a #mustreadnow for me. The crazy long library waitlist made me borrow the audiobook. So far I am finding it both exciting and annoying. I‘m on the edge of my seat waiting to find out how she ended up in a coma, and at the same time I‘m tired of hearing her whine. Just finished his high school years and he has some interesting insights about growing up that I feel could apply to my own past, but I never considered them before!
pickBook 2 of the Tearling series. I loved it but I will say this is darker and more violent/graphic than book 1. ...still it's considered YA. 🤷🏻♀️ Can't wait to listen to book 3. Except the audio app forces your return of it... thankfully no one was waiting so I could recheck it out. I'm still grumbling over parts but due to my need for conflict resolution, I'm finishing it!
