#BookedInTime and #WhatTheDickens I am struggling to catch up due to some new meds. I had hoped to post questions for both groups this weekend and I think I may have to switch to next weekend as I adjust to the medication. Apologies.
pickInspired by the classic hand game, Mr. Wiggle & Mr. Waggle. Illustrated by Pete Oswald. Includes a dog and a cat, several birds. And then Deedy is so great my kids love her books. ❤️ I read it #outloud to a tough crowd today, and more than half enjoyed it. Some kids just can't be pleased.
pickA friend was raving about a particular episode of Brene Brown‘s podcast. I listened and learned so much that I ordered this book. It is written by the author that was being interviewed. Great advice! Relatable, concise, a game changer for me.
pickEverything Ame Dykman is hysterical. She's the Jenny Lawson of children's literature. If you tweet, follow both on Twitter, it's never dull. But about the book: a misunderstanding nearly ruins everything. Apology and timing are everything.
I lost followers by posting too many pics instead of books but this is cute and I'm in a reading slump. Sorry to all who doesn't like the pics just didn't want to be away for ages whilst I try sort myself

I remember loving Nerdy Birdy when it first came out. This time Nerdy has brought along their friend vulture. They have discovered Tweeter and all the things that seem awesome. They also learn that in real life friends are so much better than online one. This book wasn‘t bad, but it felt long, and overdone. I did really love the artwork though.

Why or why is bear so horrible? Or maybe bear isn‘t horrible, and the little girl is horrible? Only the reader will know, and I‘m not going to spoil it. This book left a big smile on my face, and it will do the same for many other readers as well. I see this circulating well at most public libraries.
