I am loving #TheBlinds. It is really good. #Shadow was enjoying lying on my lap, while I read, that he fell asleep on my book. I had to switch to something else so as not to disturb him 😄😍😸🙀

My boyfriend is out tonight so I indulged in some comfort food tonight. Fried chicken tenders with mashed potatoes and a country biscuit with butter and strawberry jam! Yum. Hoping to make a nice dent in #TheBlinds tonight. I am only 30 pages in but VERY intrigued by the story so far

I should have listened to everyone and read #TheBlinds instead of #LiesSheTold. I picked this one cause it was shorter and thought I could just knock it out. The writing was terrible. It seemed the author couldn't decide on the story so she wrote 2 and embedded one in the other. I figured out "the twist" in chapter 2. So disappointed. However, #Shadow enjoyed me sitting down to finish it! ??

Jess7 This is on my #TBR - I have heard mixed reviews, but I was excited to read it. Have you read The Couple Next Door? In my opinion, the writing in that wasn't very good, but I was able to get past that and enjoy the book - even though I didn't particularly think the ending was believable? If your dislike for this book is like that, I could still read it and maybe enjoy it but if it's worse than that - just terrible like the one I'm tagging then 😩
