pickI loved this book. I love the idea of having a list of people--dead or alive--to have dinner with, and then actually have that dinner happen. #TheDinnerList was simply...wonderful. #RebeccaSerle
pick(Slight spoilers ahead.) Serle beautifully blends magic into her protagonist‘s real battle with love and grief. The structure—alternating between her fraught relationship with Tobias and the fabulous dinner (Audrey Hepburn!) featuring five people on her list—works so well to build suspense and to give a deep sense of the relationships at the book‘s center.
The mailman left my #bookmail at the edge of the porch. By the time I got home, the package was wet. Thank goodness the book was okay. I received #thedinnerlist by author #RebeccaSerle. I love the cover and am looking forward to reading it once I finish Wildcard. 😊😊 @flatironbooks
