Samary One of the book riot podcasts, someone wrote in, they did the math... his average family lifespan and his average book consumption per year and wanted a good strategy to prioritize!! Ultimately they said read what makes you happy, ditch what isn‘t working 🤘 7y

This the second hold I have had come in today. Don‘t get me wrong-I am grateful to get them but there are only so many non-working hours in the day! Too many books-too little time! You feel me @RealLifeReading @Booksnchill ?

HOTPock3tt I feel you 😪That‘s why I‘m in the time crunch I‘m in right now. I took out waay too many library books at once, can‘t renew them anymore so now I‘m forced to race to finish them all 7y

JoScho @HOTPock3tt right! I just started Force of Nature two nights ago. Not sure I can get all three read in two weeks. Plus I find I usually wait weeks or months then they all roll in at once. 7y

Bookish_AF Same thing happened to me recently too! I got 4 from my holds within like a week of each other. And then another book that was being delivered from another library came in so I was hustling this month. 7y

Bookish_AF The first 4 were ebooks and I got through them! Cut a couple close though 😜 the 5th one was a physical book and it actually has a 28 day loan! So I‘m still working on that one but have a little time now and can breathe a bit haha! 7y
