I've had to read so many books throughout my school years. Wuthering Heights was one of my favorites. I actually hated it at first until my second read through and discussing it in class.
I also loved 1984 by George Orwell and have read it many times since school.
#readitinschool in grade 5. Didn't feel too much for it at the time. Re-read it later on though, definately a solid piece of writing. I would read this to my kids (when or if I have them) for sure. #childhood #muchlove #aphotoadaynov16

When I first read The Glass Menagerie, I connected with Laura, but after watching the movie and going to a performance of the play, I felt a stronger connection to Tom. I haven't read it in years so I wonder how I would feel about the characters now? #readitinschool #photoadaynov16

pickIt's not easy to remember books read *in* school, but these came back to me. I LOVED this one by Barbara Wallace, probably the first Gothic style mystery I ever touched. Old people and mean caretakers and young waifs! So Edward Gorey but less grim. :)
