pickIntimate, explicit, chaotic, messy, heartbreaking, full of self-destructive behavior and at times quite funny.
I loved the structure, a collection of mostly brief encounters and stories, a loose feeling to the prose, a messiness to it all. Definitely not for everyone, but I could sense the sadness and heartbreak beneath so many of the tales. Excellent raw writing, that I totally just went with....

1, 13, 99 and Funk & Wagnalls' selection of important events of the 1970s! Might be interesting to look through those today; a reminder of challenges we have faced in the past. Stay safe and stay home, if you can. Thanks to all of you who must venture out to take care of us all.

This was such a great book. Loved the story, loved the dialogue, loved getting to spend time with the Serenity crew. Everything about this book was just perfection. There were so many laugh out loud moments, and a few tearful ones as well. I liked book one (Big Damn Hero), but this one blew it away.
