It took me 3 years after purchase to finally struggle through this. It took me a while to get a grasp on the plot, the setting and all the different characters, but it got better in the end.

It took me a while to get into this book in comparison to my usual books. I was drawn in by the cover & author but honestly, I‘m glad I stuck around.
Pretty heavy content for any age so at certain parts I was trying to get through hearing what was happening in the specific scene.
I read along with an audiobook and it got me through it. Excited to potentially see a series coming from this one! 🐍 #ninthhouse #leighbardugo #audible

How I feel about Ninth House thus far:

I can see why people give up due to the jumping timeliness and POV right off the bat. That's a lot to track in the first few pages of a book. That said, I find the premise sufficiently intriguing to attempt to push past that.

After hearing about the "warning label" I was hesitant about reading it. I was delightfully surprised I loved every part of #ninthhouse the novel centers around campus life and what I read it's accurate to what happens. Anyone that plans on attending a University should read this book. It's a wealth of relatable real life and fantasy interwoven together. Loved it!
