The graph is quite misleading in that I got super busy and lazy logging my word count. I‘m about 2k words short of being done but super happy with my WIP. I should wrap up the first draft in the next week—Christmas decor willing. I hope everyone had fun this year because let‘s be honest—that really is the point.

After working out some plot direction and outlining, I knocked out about 900 words yesterday and feel better about where I‘m going. The book probably won‘t be a 50k first draft but I really just want a completed first draft by the end of the month.

Brave the Page | National Novel Writing Month

I don‘t have an ending, or enough of a middle. I need to do a ton of editing. Maybe go back and outline. Flesh out characters. Work on the world building. Redraft several sections.
