I also wanted Bagheera from the Jungle Book but ended up getting a regular leopard instead on my back. I wanted a regal protector character and the leopard seemed perfect.

I did it! I joined the ranks of so many of you who have cool literary tattoos! After thinking about it for 4 years, last night I got a Pride and Prejudice quote on my forearm. 😁 I love it!

It has officially been three weeks as of yesterday, since I have gotten tattoo number 4. This quote stood out in my mind when I was reading (and re-reading) my favorite series with my favorite detective. As my life has unfolded, I realized that these words are even truer than I realized. Can't stop googling literary inspired tattoos and this one seriously speaks to me. Oh Atticus, you old gem (haha, Jem, get it).

On a side note, TKAM is always what I say when I'm asked what my favourite book is and that results in an eye roll and a "really? an english lit student and that's the best you can do?" What's wrong with appreciating such a MASTERPIECE?!?!
