Tilly & Milo prepare for a final showdown with the Alchesmist. Horatio is trapped in an enchanted sleep so this leaves Milo to live his own adventure. This journey leads Milo and friends to the Treehouse library - home of the Botanist, enemy of the Alchemist.
They journey in to some classic children‘s books looking for clues to help them prepare to battle with the Alchemist. I still love the idea of book wandering and travelling to magical places

Thank you @DGRachel - you‘re the best. I‘ve only read the first 20 pages and I know this will be on my best of the year pile. It‘s sooooo good 👍🏼

How can you resist the West Highland terrier on the front cover? Christmas. Bookstore. Couple trying to save said bookstore. All the feels. Drink hot chocolate while reading. Snuggle with #catsoflitsy or #dogsoflitsy. 🖤🐾🖤

This book feels like a love letter to book people wrapped up in a story about a woman finding her path in life while helping at her friend‘s bookstore.
Maggie is jobless and agrees to cover her friend‘s bookshop when she goes on maternity leave, but Maggie isn‘t a book person. When one mistake lands the shop in trouble, Maggie breaks all the rules to help it survive and accidentally builds a community.
