pickA fast-paced, quick ride of a thriller. After having had to push through some pretentious, dense, arty books, it was a relief to read an easy, sexy, yet well-executed story again. While I will say that the ending was a bit too neatly tied up for my taste, it was an exciting read full of twists and turns and rewarding nonetheless. Definitely tempted to pick up more by Rachael Tamayo now!

pickA retelling of Anne of Green Gables based on colors. This cardboard book is great for kids, has bright colorful pages and will keep any active kiddo still for at least a minute. Great gift for any new babies, or even as a birthday present.
