Y‘all I‘ve gotten so much reading done over my vacation but so much was dropped on my plate the moment I got back. I‘ll be posted a bunch of reviews in the next week because I‘m more than half way through the Throne of Glass series since starting it this month and I also have a bunch of manga I need to read before my loans are due at the library! So much to do and so little time!

Strange the Dreamer | Laini Taylor

Too much work, not enough Litsy the last few days! But #ImHere and I managed to #audiocook this vegan mushroom risotto with spinach for dinner tonight. I'm not generally a pictures-of-food person but I was real proud of myself 😆.
So far I'm enjoying the tagged audiobook. Been reading a lot of heavy books lately, needed something fun.

It‘s 5:30am in Aus and #ImHere with my latest book (really good - bout asbestos mining, doctors and Western Australia) waiting for the kids to wake up. It‘s first day back to school after the long Xmas holidays (they‘ve been off since November 😬), so I‘m fully caffeinated and ready for the drop-and-run-to-work routine of normal life again.

I was inspired by @saresmoore to read the intro to my copy of Shirley. This book has not fared well critically, mostly because it's about society and departs from CB's usual exploration of the interior landscape.
So will we be disappointed disparagers or embrace it as an underappreciated gem? In hopes we will become its champions, the official hashtag...🥁 #shirlitesunite 🙂

merelybookish @saresmoore There's no fever so leaning towards waiting. Sometimes you wait and wish you'd gone. Sometimes you go and then feel it was a waste. So it goes! 6y
