Released during George W Bush‘s second term it is just as relevant today, providing insight and understanding to the road paved for where Trump now stands. The lessons regarding framing issues and how to change course are strong and worthy, but somehow have been missed by the mainstream left. It‘s a good read, I recommend highly, but damn it‘s sad reading this now, little of this implemented in the decades since. Dems, read it!

Starting this tonight with Sophie. His other book , “On Tyranny”is a must read ! Shorter than this one and a recent reread for me .

Mimi28 Cute kitty 🐈‍⬛ I am thinking of starting a #litsypetprayerbook is that bad or weird? Be honest. It would basically be a list of all the Litsy pets and their names and we could I dunno start a pen pal group about them or do it on here. We encourage each other why not do it for the pets also? 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ 4w

I‘m beginning to question if it EVER landed here.

kspenmoll 💙 That is the question isn‘t it? (edited) 1mo
GingerAntics @kspenmoll I suppose it is. We like to wax poetic about freedom around here, but it‘s never been true freedom. It‘s always been freedom for the select few. 1mo

I loved this part. So much for public happiness. Now those in power think happiness is frivolous and wasteful because it doesn‘t make any of them money.

kspenmoll This is another wonderful thought provoking quote. 1mo
GingerAntics @kspenmoll for all the founding father worship conservatives have become known for, this would be radical to them. Then again, let‘s be honest, the founding fathers were WAY more radical than most conservatives will admit (if they even know). 1mo

The tagged book was a heartwarming tale of adventure and friendship. I adored the idea of bison being the wise ones everyone reported to in the park.

A big thank you to @MeganAnn for an outstanding #auldlangspine list. I read 6 books off her list so far and plan to keep going. I have full confidence the rest of the list will not disappoint.

Thank you very much @monalyisha for hosting and organizing #auldlangspine!

MeganAnn This book was such a fun, unique middle grade read. It felt like a modern classic. As an artist, I especially loved the artwork that was included and the way the illustrator added Johannes to the landscapes so perfectly it felt like he must have always been there. This one came from last year‘s #auldlandspine list from @Karisimo 2mo
MeganAnn I‘ve so enjoyed seeing your reviews and I‘m delighted that you‘ve like the books you have read so far! Even more so that you intend to continue reading from my list. 🎉💙 2mo

#tlt @dabbe

I‘ve read 33 of 104. Favorites: The Eyes and the Impossible, The Last Cuentista, and The Girl Who Drank the Moon!

It is interesting to think about which books have stood the test of time and which haven‘t!

dabbe #yahooyou! I thought the same thing just looking at the covers! Thanks for playing and sharing. 🤩🤗🤩 2mo

I just got this book from my library. It surprised me very much. I thought it would be a tiny book, much like two other books by this author which I recently read. Not only is it a longer book, but it seems to be a bit more difficult to understand. I‘m not really sure about this. I found the Preface a bit challenging, but I‘m going to give it my best try.
