This book touched my heart in a deep way. The author is the daughter of a holocaust survivor and is searching for answers about her parents families who were murdered in Ukraine. Her mother refused to tell her much about her life, and her father died when she was eight years old. She researches and through⬇️

Crazeedi many serendipitous events finds the answers to many of her questions about her family. As she tells us her heritage is saved through memories. I definitely recommend this book, as its important we #neverforget 5y

TheAromaofBooks It can be really hard to find answers to family questions when the family members don't want to share painful memories - I had a great-uncle who landed on D-Day but would never talk about his experiences. I understand, but am also sad about that piece of family history that has been lost forever. 5y

WOW 4.5 stars - I was completely blown away. Thriller plus Sci-Fi equals one crazy, mind-boggling, addictive and suspenseful ride!! Once I picked it up I couldn‘t put it down. Recursion is a must read especially if you gave Dark Matter a thumbs up.
Excited to hear Netflix has bought the movie rights. I can‘t wait to see it.

Where do YOU get YOUR ideas, Mr. Boyne?? 😜Because they‘re fantastic.

Expectations were high because The Heart‘s Invisible Furies is pretty perfect. And I was not disappointed. I appreciate a good episodic narrative which I think is hard to pull off. Here, it‘s well-executed and flawlessly punctuated by differing perspectives. I gasped, I cringed, and I laughed. Clever and darkly humorous. I loved it!

A modern retelling of Shakespeare's Macbeth. It was a very slow build and not overly original. Macbeth is head of SWAT. Duncan, the police chief commissioner, is his boss and Lady runs the Casino and convinces Macbeth to "kill the king". Not love for me because it was painfully SLOW.
