I have a problem when I read a historical fiction novel, I always go down a rabbit hole. The Keeper of Lost Art was no different. Morelli wrote about something I knew little about. During WWII, the museums in Florence, Italy moved the most valuable artworks to villas in the countryside.

Morelli based her story on a real villa (though she changed the name) and the caretaker. She tells this amazing story through the eyes of Stella, ⬇️

It's a cute funny book that asks you questions of what you would either be, eat, or do. Great for kids 5 to 8 years old. I could see kids laughing and having so much fun with this book.

Holmes, Marple, and Poe is about three PI's in NYC. They solve cases using whatever means necessary. They first help solve one case that leads to three more. While the book kept my interest, it was jaw-dropping or thrilling to me. I didn't see much character development by the end of the book, they were still pulling the same kind of crap.

Kelly Armstrong knows how to grab you and keep you engrossed in her books. They are full of mystery, suspense, and intrigue. Cold as Hell is the third book in her Haven's Rock Series. This series is a spin-off from her Rockton Series she ended after 7 books.

Armstrong's writing was superb in Cold as Hell. I stayed up until after 1 this morning, finishing it. I COULDE NOT put it down. I had to know who it was and what was going to ⬇️

I started this book on December 21, 2024, and finished it tonight on January 20, 2025.
One reason it took me a month to read is that it is a chunkster of a book. I, also, went down the rabbit hole, which I seem to do when I read a history book. The Fate of the Day covers the American Revolutionary War from 1777-1780. It's the 2nd volume in The Revolution Trilogy.

I thought I knew a lot about the Revolutionary War. It's a subject we are ⬇️

I have read some of this series, and not others, so I decided I would start with the 1st one in the Kate Burkholder Series and read them all in order. This way, I figure I will not skip one.
