I haven't read this book yet (it's been on my list for a while, but I've been putting it off because I expect it to be difficult to focus on). I have, of course, read dozens of quotes and selections from Walden because one can't avoid them, and I even started the thing a few times, but I can't quite get past his self-importance and his neckbeard. Still, I think I ought to read the whole thing someday.

I have read 240 books from the 1001 books to read before you die list but I have not read Tolkien yet. I‘m not a fan of fantasy but I think I need to check out this trilogy. I have watched the movies and enjoyed them so reading this book is overdue.

Deifio I've recently started my reread of LotR. The first part of Fellowship kind of drags on a bit. You if you do a buddy read, I think you'll get through it just fine 😉 5y

Why did I wait so long to download #serialreader??? I kept seeing posts on it & I am so stoked to try it. Merry early Bookmas to me! I'm starting with a #classicihaventread that almost shattered my long friendship with @thealidoyle . So, I'm fixing the fact that I somehow tragically missed out on Anne's adventures as a kid. Here goes!

Don Quixote | Miguel de Cervantes

Despite Don Quixote being my favourite fictional character, I've never read past the first few chapters..... But I've sat with the Don Quixote statue outside Cervantes' home! Thanks to another #litsy user, I've downloaded the Serial Reader app.

To Kill a Mocking Bird was recommended by mum who read it at school and introduced me to the film last year.

GlitteryOtters I also answer no to one of those questions (I did not minor in Russian lit 😂😂). While definitely not my favorite Russian classic, I am still glad I read it (and am thinking I am due for a re-read because I think I read it at too young of an age the first time..,I just need to catch up on more of my TBR pile first before diving into such an epic sized reread!') 8y
