Here is my list for #roll100 in 2024! Looking forward to this one and getting a fair few of these off my TBR! Going to play it by ear each month but plan will be to read at least one of the rolls monthly.

I thought the overall message of the story was the best. I think that it is so cool to show the students that there will be times when they get to take a chance and they should have the courage to follow and do what they believe in.

pickIn this story, the illustrator uses both pencil and watercolor to create texture and light within all of the wonderful illustrations that are provided. The illustrator also used bright colors on the main characters and ideas of the story as well.
Still spinning to work through my BOTM backlog! I‘m a little embarrassed to admit this is my first Colson Whitehead book. 😳
