I thought the overall message of the story was the best. I think that it is so cool to show the students that there will be times when they get to take a chance and they should have the courage to follow and do what they believe in.

“Maybe I don't have to be brave all the time. Maybe I just need to be brave for a little while at the right time.“
In this story, the illustrator uses both pencil and watercolor to create texture and light within all of the wonderful illustrations that are provided. The illustrator also used bright colors on the main characters and ideas of the story as well.
My dad‘s christmas presents for my mom- „what to do with a chance?“and „what to do with a problem?“ (we already have „what to do with an idea?“) -they are such lovely children‘s books, I love the illustrations and the cute stories, even though they are somewhat similar. If you are looking for a motivating, lovely children‘s book- I can recommend them😍
What do you do with a chance is another great hit by Kobe yamada. This modern fiction book teaches children that if they are given a chance they should take it. For this book I would do a literature circle. The UDL I would use for this is 9.3 because they can use this book for self-assessment and reflection.
This might be my favorite in the series. “Maybe I don‘t have to be brave all the time. Maybe I just need to be brave for a little while at the right time. I realized it was up to me.”
Picked this up at my favorite hometown indie bookstore! Already read it to my family to announce that I‘m applying to grad school...taking a chance!

My favorite in the series!
I received this book as a gift. I wasn't sure why someone would buy me a children's book until I read it through tears. If I had written a picture book, this would be it! So simple, yet it's truth and inspiration resonates deep with those of us chasing a dream. Instant classic!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Doesn‘t this title just grab you? I saw it in the bookstore and had to have it. This sweet (F) story about a boy who is afraid to take a chance but faces his fears and comes out the better for it. “So what do you do with a chance? You take it because it just might be the start of something incredible.” #UCFLAE3414SP18
I have the other two, so yes! I had to purchase this one that I didn‘t even know was coming.
