This book was a big letdown. It could have been SO MUCH MORE and yet the characters were unlikeable, the relationships odd and unrealistic, and it was extremely disappointing for me. I had high hopes!

I have to use Sookie Stackhouse again. The end of the series has been the #BiggestLetdown in my career as a reader, so far.
I could mention that book with the grey silk tie on the cover, too. But I didn't have high expectations about it to begin with. 🙈😁 (I'm so one-sided)

#splashintosummerreads Day 10 I love McMurtry and Lonesome Dove is one of my favorites. I was excited to read a book with Earp and Holliday written by McMurtry, but this was so disappointing. It's too short and there was no plot. #biggestletdown

#biggestletdown I expected so much more from this book, and was further so disappointed by Cornwell's Arthurian trilogy that I have not been able to bring myself to read anything else by him, which is a shame, because his subject matter looks like stuff I'd love...if only someone else would write it. This was recommended to me by a friend and it definitely has been my #biggestletdown of the year. I just did not like it.... I would have dnfed it but I felt a responsibility to finish it because of the recommendation. (Sorry to anyone who likes it... This is just my opinion) #splashintosummerreads
