TheBookAddict #dogsoflitsy he was a bit sad because he gets too excited when he sees the cats and he wants to play but they don‘t. He‘s still a puppy (at 65 lbs) so he can‘t contain his excitement. Tookey tolerates him for a few minutes and then she gets overwhelmed by his excitement so she smacks him, which just makes him think she‘s playing with him, and she eventually runs upstairs. Since the dogs are not allowed upstairs he mopes afterwards. #bigbaby 6y

Skygoddess1 I love Phantoms, it‘s probably my favorite book by Dean Koontz, try to reread every couple of years. Whatever you do, don‘t watch the movie, so does not live up to the book. Wish Nickelodeon or a streaming network would reboot Are You Afraid of the Dark 6y

AsYouWish Loved the show, and I think I have one of the Are You Afraid of the Dark books somewhere. I think every once in a while Nickelodeon plays an episode, and I get very excited!!! 6y

Billypar Haven't read the Koontz, but I also loved the show as a kid. Combine that with Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, and John Bellairs novels, and that's a great map of my favorite scares growing up 😨😁 6y

KathyWheeler @Whimsical.Curiosity Twilight Eyes was set in a circus and was well told. From the Corner of His Eye has a hero who had the same eye cancer my daughter had as a baby and it has the best Koontz villain. 6y

KathyWheeler @Whimsical.Curiosity My daughter is great now. She lost vision in her left eye, all but her peripheral vision, but she‘s good otherwise. I still feel that my friends who read the book before I did should have told me about that character‘s cancer though, instead of letting me encounter it with no preparation. It was still relatively new for me and my daughter back when the book came out. 6y
