Sweetest Kulu | Celina Kalluk

I absolutely adore this book for our little ones. Beautiful writing and lovely illustrations make this a wonderful picture book. You learn a little bit about Inuit culture and the Arctic while learning to respect the land and animals. I would 100% recommend this book over and over again.

Berenstain Bears and the Messy Room | Stan Berenstain, Jan Berenstain

We have rotated this book into the list of books we read (and believe me it was a tough sell since it isn't about dinosaurs) in an attempt to have our 3.5 year old understand that it is much more fun to play in a clean room. We haven't gotten very far with the cleaning up of messes 😂.

Little Leaders: Bold Women in Black History | Vashti Harrison

Definitely a book series that I will be reading to both our little guy and baby girl when they are a bit older. Little guy is 3 years old right now and these are still a bit to old for him but hopefully in a year or two these will be books we can pull out for bedtime reading.

The New Baby | Mercer Mayer

Our little guy does not like us reading books to him but he'll invent his own stories as he flips through the pages. However, with a new addition in the house we attempt to read this book each night. Even if he is playing we will still read the book to him.
