I'm getting into the Christmas spirit (BTW, where's the snow Colorado? No snow since April is unacceptable!) so I'm going to take a break from my other reading and dip into something Christmasy. I haven't chosen which one yet, but it will definitely be set in a snowy location!

I was attending a Christening when one of the older kids started telling me about this book and how she had a tough time with it because it was very scary. There was a point where I thought she had dreamt some parts because they seemed too scary for a kids book, a kid tied up on a chair and I demon dentist pulling all his teeth for example. By coincidence we had to pick a scary book for a book club this month, and we went with this one. ⬇️⬇️

I found this book on Pango for $1 plus shipping! Getting it for my youngest, it‘s so cute! I love teaching children to be thankful for the small things in life. As I get older, it‘s really some of the little things that bring me the most joy.

I loved this series as a kid and it‘s been great revisiting them again!

1. This meme and not-serious/serious discussing future bookshop/B&B ventures with a friend
2. This pic of my grand-niece reading her Pride & Prejudice counting book in her rocking chair
3. Flowers & prayer book gift for being named the “Honoree of the Year” at church
4. RAIN
5. First bouquet of narcissus from the garden (I‘m in Southern California; these poor bulbs have no idea what season it is)

Oh my god... so freaking adorable! Poor Frank wakes up one day and one of his legs is missing. He's not sure he is a spider anymore with 7 legs. He's on a mission to find his missing leg. Will he find it or be a lesser than spider? Cute artwork and super sweet story.

Going old school here… I love the friendship of Pooh Bear and Piglet!!

An enjoyable read. What do you do when you can get a chance? Do you let it go or take it? Cute artwork and story.
