pickA group of boys keeps a scorecard about who touches girls the most. Nobody believes her or really cares. She doesn't want to bother her mom with her issues, so she keeps her thoughts inside. She learns karate, and that becomes her outlet. Illuminates issues of problems in today's world that will probably never go away. The characters are convincing and credible. The story can help talk about things that are hard to talk about.
pickThis is book 3 of the Stage Dive series and the first book in this series I have read. It worked well as a stand alone and the plot was good. I liked that the plot was not only plausible but worked so well with the characters. Looking forward to read the rest in the series. Hopefully from the beginning.
