August was definitely one of my best months in a while! Thornhill was definitely my fave of the month. Only 2 DNF‘s so not too shabby. Only two 5 ⭐️‘s and that was Thornhill and Brave

16 books
3 non-fiction
10 by women
10 by BIPOC
1 ARC (The Echo Wife comes out 2/16/2021 in the US)
The most impactful was Long Way Down by Reynolds. What a powerful read
I might have perversely enjoyed Echo Wife the best - it is so twisted!
A few disappointments in Bolano, Binchey, Tan, and Adichie
Most eye opening - Revolution For Dummies
Over all a good month!

Monthly round-up for August!
I got a lot of reading done this month and read a bunch of really great books. I mostly focused on comics and manga so that's why the total is so high.

#augustroundup part 2/2! 19 books finished this month.
Best of these was absolutely the Overstory even if it did take me over a week to read and get me behind on my reading challenge!
#augustroundup part 1/2! 19 books finished this month.
Standouts of this half were Milkman, Ragnarok and A Closed Eye tho I‘d say I did genuinely love all of them apart from Snap.
#day31 and the final day of the #augustphotochallenge It has been so much fun!! Loved seeing everyone's epic stacks 😉 A few of my stats for the #augustroundup @TheSpinecrackersBookClub
