While I'm good with variety posts, I'm rather new here on Litsy and only know the Litsy as it has been since my joining this magical community.

I find Litsy a safe place, a gathering place that serves a community of members like a mom and pop bookstore. We recognize one another if we visit often. We learn about one another, celebrate each other, offer emotional support, etc.

DogMomIrene @dabbe Thanks! Lots of people in US looking to move internationally. I‘ve talked to a few friends about it. Many options. Canada‘s looking for skilled workers, especially in healthcare. Hubby was a nurse. That‘s how we got a work permit and applied for PR. 2w

DogMomIrene @dabbe Yep! After living in Tucson for years, when we moved to PEI the house we bought had no AC. We put in heat pumps last spring. Their cooling feature works well, especially with the humidity here. Thanking the engineer gods for sure! 1mo
