1. 50 + I read at bedtime so it depends how engaging the book is and how awake I am. I listen to audio books for hours when I am walking, driving or working around the house.
2. All Fours
3. East of Eden is a favorite

Taking a break from Horrror and Fantasy to read some Historical Fiction! Does anyone else sometimes get burnt out reading the same genres?! Hope you all have a happy Sunday. ☕️

LiteraryinPA Yes, that happens to me when I read too many thrillers in a row or too much YA. 1y
Ruthiella I definitely like to mix it up! 1y
Bookwomble Yeah, I like to have a few different genres on the go to match my shifting moods. 1y

Reggie Yes. A couple of Octobers ago, I got horrored out. I had to change my last week of reading to something else. It shocked me. Lol 1y
LatrelWhite Love that book. Read it many many years ago!💕 1y
KateReadsYA @LatrelWhite I'm really enjoying her writing style. Do you have any recommendations similar to this one? 1y
LatrelWhite Yes another is “Perfect Peace” by Daniel Black I love all his books but this one in particular because I love the cover! 🧡 1y
KateReadsYA @LatrelWhite Thank you. It sounds like a very emotional book. I've added it to my tbr 1y

It‘s another week!

I‘m diving into I Almost Forgot About You. This isn‘t my first Terry McMillan book, but it is one of her most recently published books that I have yet to read.

I picked it up because I‘m trying not to read our September book pick for the Buddy Reads with Reading Beyond the Book Cover, It‘s Not All Downhill From Here.

I‘m expecting multidimensional characters and drama from this audiobook.

What are you reading this week?

#2023Book58
I really liked getting to know the characters in this book. A few stories, though, seemed to end way too quickly without giving the characters enough time to be fleshed out properly.
