#5JoysFridays Happy Friday All!! 🩷😊🫶🏽 1) reading everyone‘s posts and reviews has put me in a sleepy trance- which is good!!!👍🏽 because I was in a lot of pain before I clicked on Litsy, I‘m comfortable, but now I have to pee. 2) so far I have taken on this recovery from a back procedure with no pain meds and only a little ice. 3) my mom saying I am acting like a toddler because of the looks I give her every time she tells me to do something

2) Sunny days. Temps are cold but if I stand in the sun I can almost feel Spring and the sunsets have been spectacular

#5joysfridays it‘s been a week 🤣🤣 1. I found my favourite pretzel crackers at Costco again after a too long for me hiatus 2. We move our youngest home from Uni this weekend and I have rented a storage unit and gone through multiple bins here and resorted stuff and this pile is ready to load in the car to pack him up 3. I‘m loving the #littensloveromance read this month 4. My iced peppermint mocha cold brew is life 5. I baked 1/5 cookie recipes

#5joysfridays 1. The tree was up but I finally decorated it last weekend 2. We got a lot of snow ands it‘s already almost all gone 🤦🏻‍♀️ 3. I continue to get joy from the list of books I found that feel like a hug - The Wishing Game is from that list 4. I did more art with some grade 2s and 3s that was so much fun 5. Our Honda Pilot died after 18 yrs of service - we experienced a lot of joy with it, our kids grew up while we drove it

Jenny Colgan is always a mood shifter ❤️ I‘m glad I saved this 3rd book in the ‘Lessons‘ series ( my book hoarding has been justified) 3. Pyjama day at school = my new leopard print pjs ( shopping problem also justified) 4. Still trying to doodle 5. Remembrance Day Art with grade 4‘s today

#5joysfridays where did the week go? 1. Thanksgiving dinner was with all the kids ❤️ my two were home for the weekend and my sister and brother in law are in Rome so my niece and nephew came ❤️❤️ 2. A cocktails only place opened a while ago and I have so wanted to go, my mom‘s group got together to belatedly celebrate my 60th 3. I thought a Corpse Reviver was a great 60th drink choice 4. My October TBR is taunting me 5. Doodles are life

1) My faith - the fact that I didn‘t give up got me many rewards 🙏🏽😊 2) something I thought was stolen was just left at the wrong address- a good person said it had been in his hallway this whole time!! Whew!! 3) Being persistent finally got them to believe me about my ears and they called in some drops today. My ear is itching like crazy and she said I have TOO LITTLE wax or it wouldn‘t be as bad. That‘s nuts!! But okay…

1) my faith 2) watching tv especially WNBA games with my mom 3) that our wooden back porches didn‘t catch fire with all the fireworks 4) that there is a date set for my mom‘s 80th birthday party 5) all of the cute animal videos I have been watching online 6) that even though the channel Discovery Family isn‘t playing our favorite animal show “Too Cute” it came on at the same time as Jeopardy so now we watch that, lol. 7) that my mom is taking

1) Buchart Gardens: flowers, plants, beauty
2) UBC Anthropology Museum: Fabulous collection mostly First Nations history and artifacts
3) Vancouver BC Zoo: Impressive enclosures geared toward the physical and mental health of the animals and it showed. I‘ve never seen such playful animals in a zoo.
4) Coming home after a trip.
5) Last night stitching and listening to our first #Shardlakians book. It is so good!
