2019 held a lot of ups and downs for me and I didn‘t reach any of my reading goals or complete any challenges. So this year, I‘m keeping it simple and only challenging myself to four goals that will allow me to read any book I want with no pressure.

Curiouser_and_curiouser Sounds awesome! I hate locking myself into certain books too. 150 books is huge though, I don't know where one would find so much time to read? My spindly little goal for this year is 24! Lol! Maybe I have to work my way up 😉 Well, enjoy choosing each book as you go along, that's my favorite part, just like choosing a chocolate from a chocolate box! Finishing it is something else.... 5y

This year, I‘m looking at my reading goals as more participatory. I will continue to set a 100 book goal on Goodreads, but the others are mostly about reading with others instead of a specific list.

I will also continue to track reading of library and owned books, but I‘m not setting any kind of goal.

BookwormAHN I also believe its Lord of the Rings then back to the history. And if we are still game I was thinking of some other Tolkien related works we could consider but we have six books first to read 😸 5y

Daisey I love this goal! I‘m completely in favor of rereading LotR and then finishing the histories. Like @BookwormAHN I have some others in mind when we get done with those as well. 5y

Daisey @JazzFeathers I still need to buy all of the history books we have left to read. I‘m hoping to make it to the newly relocated Inklings bookstore when they reopen and see whether they have any available before ordering. 5y

JazzFeathers @Daisey Oh, my goodness! I love the idea to buy Tolkien's books from the Inklings 😍😆 l also love this plan. There's never too much Tolkien to read, for me. This Fellowship has ruined me! And l'm quite content about it 😂 5y

My #readinggoals for 2020 will be #readlesmis2020 with a chapter a day so I can finally say I've finished it. I will not set a number goal on goodreads and instead focus on taking my time more. Reading what I already have on my shelves rather than buying more or getting books from the library will be my biggest challenge. #2020goals

Well @TheSpineView here‘s my #SeriesRead wrap-up for the year. I caught up on some that I planned on, a few are still languishing and getting moved to 2020... I think for Star Wars as many new books came out as I read 😂! My planned new series to start are pretty much all getting carried over. 🤪
