This was a reread for me for my Jane Austen book discussion through the library. Loved it the 2nd time around too! Smith chooses to spend a year on the road in Central and South America, reading Austen with book groups. While in each country, she gets to know the culture and the people and immerses herself in Spanish and daily life. Some touching moments, and a great vicarious travelogue.
