Slowly working my way through catching-up with this series.
I really enjoyed this one, and love how both the story and relationships continue to grow and change as the series progresses.

Another great book in the Guild Hunter series. It's two years after the end of the last book and Raphael and Elena are up against an enlightened group of angels who aren't what they seem. In the process, Elena finds out more about her family history and receives a very big surprise.

I love the books in this series that go back to Elena and Raphael as the main characters. The series gets better each book and it‘s great how an overarching storyline keeps me interested beyond what specifically happens in each individual book. (And I just adore Elena and Raphael‘s relationship) #romantsy #paranormalromance #romance
I always love this series, the stories are alway interesting but what I enjoy more is the character. The character are so interesting and not prefect. They all have demons that they must deal with but it doesnt stop them.
Aodhan is part of Rapheal Seven and has been assigned to guard Elena at the Luminata. Aodhan has a tragic past and we see the biggest growth in Aodhan in this book I was glad to see.
Elena and Rapheal are my fav book couple
I loved Archangel‘s Heart, I loved it, I loved it!! It‘s been too long since I‘ve been in a story with Raphael and Elena, one of my favorite literary couple. It seriously felt like a home coming of epic proportions, and to finally get some mysteries solved about Elena‘s past and heritage was a major plus as well.
The Cadre of Archangel's have been called to a meeting by the Luminata, but this ancient Angelic order may not be everything they seem.
There is less action and sex than in the previous books of the series, but I loved getting to know more about Elena and Aodhan ☺️ I actually found the lack of steamy sex scenes refreshing, as we got to see more of the sweet and sensitive side of the romance between Raphael and Elena ❤️
"Elena, did you just throw a bread roll at the Archangel of New York?" ❤️?❤️? #archangelsheart #nalinisingh
What a sweet elderly lady ❤️
Such a lovely part of this story ☺️
"-but what did he have to hide? The whole world knew that the Archangel of New York loved his consort."
I wasn't keen on Raphael at the start of the series, and there are still angels that I prefer, but dayum he has grown on me! ❤️

Treated myself to some new books ☺️❤️📚
Spending some quality time with Elena and Raphael was awesome!
Just starting the newest Nalini Singh. I love her stories. #currentlyreading #bluebell
I don't especially like the way this was plotted: two different storylines are put together in a way that doesn't really make much sense until toward the end, and it feels a bit like an afterthought by that point. Still, this was necessary for the series in order to push the overarching plot forward, and to develop characters and introduce new ones. Can't wait for the next book, which hopefully has a stronger narrative.
Angels + vampires + (vampire) hunters + romance = a really fun, quick read. Also helps that many of the characters are PoC (including the one in this book, even though the covers tend to portray her as white). I'm not especially fond of Elena and Raphael as headline characters, but considering the events of the last book in this series, it'll be interesting to see how this moves the overall series forward.
I have never read a Nalini Singh book that I didn't like. This story was such an interesting look into Elena's family history, and I loved getting to know Aodhan better as well. #bookbloggers #urbanfantasy #romantsy

Melinda loves this series because it is a little dark, a little gritty, and has a lot of heart. This one didn't disappoint.

I like this look of blue fire and furious tenderness. #romantsy
