I read this book about a train trip at the bottom of the Atlantic in an airplane ✈️. I liked the story which was quick and fun. A good setup, though the mystery was a little short.

For all the Steampunk newbies out there I wanted to suggest this title. Yes, I only gave it 3 stars, but that is for one very good reason. I am NOT a fan of Agatha Christy. (Don't hate me, I just haven't liked any I read). This is similar to MotOE and if you like that style of mystery then you are sure to like this one. The author writes quite a few Steampunk books and also cosplays Steampunk. I do want to read this books sequel if it ever gets 1.
Hello all, I know there are a few of us doing the #steampunkswap. It's a genera I love. But many things get labeled Steampunk that are not. (See last weeks Gunslinger Girl comment). For those wanting to explore this genera or just need book ideas I have a very large list on my good reads I am happy to share.

I promise to show off my little collection. It's getting warmer & lighter so I can use my library more.
For they do not travel on an ordinary train, but rather one that connects Germany to America on underwater tracks. Rose is the creator's daughter, and is being sent on the first trip to prove that this new train is safe. The mystery part is okay, but very slow. You spend 75% of the book on the build up to the end. Not enough dead people and not enough information on the purpose of their death. I‘m pretty sure that there will be a sequel.
I've decided to give my first book of #readathon a rest because the characters are starting to annoy me. Interesting premise though! Maybe I'll pick it up again later, but for now, I'm heading on to Here I Am! Very excited because Jonathan Safran Foer is one of my faves. (also I woke up 2 hours late...whoops!)
Hey all, I've been having a great time hosting the #OctPhotoChallenge, and thought I would give out some prizes. Very small prizes. If I tag you below, please send screen name, real name, and address to MissRyanAF@gmail.com. I promise, no spamming you.
It was kind of fun. I liked the main character. I loved the concept. A muder mystery on an undersea railway. I can see this being beautifully animated, but the book was just okay. It took a while to get going. Not much happened until halfway through. The ending felt rushed and kind of crazy. Recommend a #borrow on this one. #steampunk
Books from my local library. As if my to read shelf wasn't big enough! I think I'll start with The Transatlantic Conspiracy. Looks like a fun #steampunk mystery. #libraryhaul
Here's my #impulsebuy for the #augustphotochallenge 😃 This book's cover caught my eye as I was leaving AwesomeCon back in June so I bought it! Still haven't read it though...😅 Anyone else read this one?
I had a great time at Awesome Con and this book caught my eye on my way out.... A steampunk murder mystery set on an underwater train? Yes, please! Also, I'm a sucker for cool cover art 😍
