Finished this one while #audiopuzzling on a dreary Oklahoma day. My first MKA! It was a super cute romantic mystery about a house flip TV program that turns into a whodunnit. I enjoyed it even if it didn‘t knock my socks off. It was a little saccharine and I figured out the guilty party pretty early on. But it was lots of fun nonetheless. #bookspin #52bookclub23 #publishedbymacmillan

Here‘s my progress for #FabulousFebruary, which looks like a lot since I cheated and started a day early. I also read Father of the Bride, which isn‘t shown here. So far, my favourite is To Get To The Other Side by Kelly Ohlert. Tagged is my current listen. 😊

A fun contemporary romance with a pinch of mystery.

For #travelthroughbooks and #traveltheUS I picked up this book set in #Savannah #Georgia and it‘s the first time I‘ve read this author and I found this to be a quick fun read with quirky characters and a lot of heart. I will definitely be looking at her backlist. Perfect beach/summertime read #mayreadinglist #springread

Mary Kay Andrews was at Page & Palette tonight, so I went across the bay to see her. It was a fun evening and I bought a couple of books.

This is not my favorite of Mary Kay Andrews, but even though it is not a favorite I am so glad to read another book from Andrews. This will make you smile and is a great start to the summer reading season.

Ms. Andrews certainly knows how to write a great story.

Fans of mystery, fans of books you won‘t want to stop reading, and fans of Ms. Andrews' books will love THE HOMEWRECKERS.

Another gem that is a perfect read for summer or any season - don‘t miss it. 5/5

Hattie, a house flipper, needs a big score after her last project flopped. Things look bleak until she is asked to star in a new home reno show. Hattie learns being a TV star is not all it‘s cracked up to be when a dead body is found on her work site. This beach read with a mystery twist was all kinds of fun. I loved Hattie and found the mystery angle compelling. Thx to NetGalley & St. Martin's Press for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

MKA is a go to Summer read for me. This year I won an ARC from Goodreads and St Martin's Press. So Instead of reading poolside with tropical cocktail, I read in the spring while the tulips and daffodils are in bloom.

Throughly enjoyed it! Romance, Old houses on Tybee Island, and a Mystery that kept me guessing. I couldn't put it down.

And now I want a beach house to paint Typee Beach Glass blue with white trim and a coral front door. 🌊
