I have been solidly dodging those bingos! Might have to choose a book deliberately with a ring or fire...

This second chance romance was great! And yummy hockey players to boot. The first in a series, so I'll def check out the rest bc I loved Sarina's other hockey series too 😍 #romantsy
Also, my first full book on my new Kindle and I'm in love! I may have excitedly placed way too many library holds that I may regret when they all come in at once, but I'm having too much fun to care 😄
I forgot to keep track of time for #24monday 🤦♀️it is crazy cold out today but we're fishing in an ice tournament. We're staying in the truck to keep warm so I get to read :) This was a really great second chance at love novel. Hockey hotties and no annoying tropes. Great pick @Jas16 😘
Attempt number two at steamy sports-related romance was much more successful. 👍🏻
Hockey is my second favorite (after baseball, of course). This book was much better written/edited than the baseball book, not cringey, and had characters I actually liked. Clearly the plot was entertaining, since I stayed up too late and read the whole thing today. And the sexy times were hotter in this one, too! 🔥
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Loved this book!

That's some #hotstuff all right!
“How did two healthy people produce as many tears as they did? By ducking all the important stuff,”
Yep I think this sums up the root of their problem. This was a fun read..I was giggling and laughing all the way and some moments that squeezed my heart. The h is the one who's broken and he made her whole again. A feel good book for me.
I ❤ happy endings. But I don't mind if the story wrecks me a little first.
It's Friday, so fun t-shirt day at the library I work at. And just starting Rookie Move. I have no interest in real sports, but love me a sports romance.🙂

I'm home sick for the next two days so I picked some steamy romances to get through the pain🤧 I really enjoy Sarina Bowens books. The Brooklyn Bruisers is a spin off of the Ivy Years series which I absolutely loved. I'm also a huge fan of Lorelei James and haven't read the Need You series yet so there's one perk of being home sick. Binge reading!
I generally read anything Sarina Bowen; The Year We Fell Down is still one of my favorites. This one didn't excite me as much, but it was sweet. Leo was a sweetheart and Georgia was kick-ass. I didn't feel the heat in this one though.
Love Sarina Bowen. I laughed and cried and made all the happy book noises.
Great start to a new series! A sweet and steamy second chance/sports romance 🏒😍
How I'm spending my Friday night! Coffee, my book, and my favorite jammies. Does anybody else like to take notes while they read? I love taking notes while I read, especially since I'm in the middle of too many series. Makes it easier to keep track of all of the characters and storylines.
Another month another overflowing pile of books to read! First up is ROOKIE MOVE by Sarina Bowen for review. What is your first read of September? ❤️📚🍰☕️
(3 stars) Three Thoughts 1) Didn't enjoy as much as other Bowen reads as just didn't really feel the chemistry between the leads 2) whole thing with coach made no sense and wasn't resolved well 3) an ok read just not a great one
I'm such a sucker for sports romances and I've been looking forward to this one for months!
Overall, I liked this book. If you like hockey romances I would definitely give it a shot. I did not think that this was particularly unique for the genre though. I also felt the first half dragged a bit. But about halfway through I was fully invested. This is a series that I will certainly keep up with. The writing is good as well! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📚🚗☀️
Such a great start to a new series! It had great hockey scenes, tension, and romance! Sarina Bowen writes a sexy, angsty romance, which I love. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
