All Along You Were Blooming
All Along You Were Blooming: Thoughts for Boundless Living | Morgan Harper Nichols
15 posts | 10 read | 4 to read
A celebration of hope. An encounter with grace. A restoration of the heart. A healing of wounds. An anthem of freedom. All Along You Were Blooming is the ultimate love letter from the pen of popular Instagram poet Morgan Harper Nichols to your mind, to your heart, to your soul, and to your body. Morgan Harper Nichols delivers a striking collection of illustrated poetry and prose, inviting you to "stumble into the sunlight" and delight in the wild and boundless grace you've been given. There is a purpose in every season, and no matter how you want to race through this day or run away from this place, rest assured that you are invited to live fullyright here, right now. Light will always find you, and even when the sun sets and you sit awaiting the dawn, know you are still blooming in the way you were meant to. And in each small moment, whether in the light or the dark, you can make room for becoming, for breathing, for stumbling, and for simply beingfor there is Grace, today and every day.

Another collection of poems that I devoured from Morgan Harper Nichols! I meant to savor this one and take my time with it, but I just couldn't stop reading. I love her way with words and the thoughts she shares with us.

I know this is a bad picture of the book, but I love the last stanza of this poem:
"So take heart when fear is raging.
Seek courage over control.
Learn to let go into the wild of things,
learn to grow as things unfold."

Went to Barnes & Noble last night and restrained myself from buying all the books, but I couldn't walk away from this one. I can't wait to dive inside and float around for a while with Nichols's words!

#Alphabetgame #LetterA #LetterB #LetterC

Catching up here. #LetterA is a lovely book of art illustrations & poetry; #LetterB is the first book I read by Simone St. James & as a result, I was hooked! #LetterC is about a cat & books- how could I go wrong?!

Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Love Simone 📚🖤 2y
SilversReviews Ohhhhh….I LOVE this photo, and LOVED The Broken Girls. 😊 2y

This is the most beautifully written poetry book I have ever read. It is a super fast read and provides wonderful insight and messages on hope, healing, and strength. There is hope and light in every single season. Every page is very poetic and inspirational to living a life of purpose filled with light, love, and hope.

#two4tuesday

1. Two books: All Along You Were Blooming and Craft a Life You Love
2. Sometimes but I like to read more nonfiction and not everyone reads that as their go to genre. If you have a nonfiction book you loved, leave the recommendation below. 😉

TheSpineView Thanks for playing and happy Tuesday! 🤩📚🌞📚 4y
ElizaMarie Not sure if I have time to post this one but my go to recommendation recently has been Les Mis (thanks for the #BuddyRead) but also I‘m really into this Last Book on the Left.. also I recommend books based on the person asking for a recommendation 4y
ElizaMarie So because of Litsy, I‘ve been exposed to a bunch of new reads 4y
Cortg Here are a few NF reads I‘ve enjoyed this year. Stamped: Racism, Antiracism and You because it consolidates racism, it‘s history and how we got to where we are today, The Girl with Seven Names because I‘m curious about N Korea, Eleanore & Hick because they had an intriguing relationship & it‘s fun to read about a woman‘s perspective in the White House, & Beyond Belief because Scientology is fascinating in a weird way. A friend sent me a care package from her favorite indie store and this was the book included, written by a popular Instagram poet. It was the perfect book for these times, reminding me that even in scary and uncertain situations, we can grow and flourish. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Book 2/12 for #bfc28
