Im really glad this was a #lmpbc book. I enjoyed the magic and setting. Yes there were some plot holes, but this was a character driven good vs evil kind of romp with regency style and colonialism issues at the forefront.

I really enjoyed this YA Fantasy. It was cute, had a happy ending and made it under 300 pages. Jessamine meets Finn then love and all hell break loose, of course. The magic system was especially interesting.

So this wasn‘t bad per say, it just wasn‘t very good…

Not a lot of depth and I felt confused as to what they were fighting for a lot of the time. If there was no Eleanor in this book, I would have been miserable reading it.

It was a super quick read. Not going to say too much more. #LMPBC

Finished this #LMPBC pick and really enjoyed it! For such a shirt book, it had so much emotion. I loved the storyline and all the magical elements, however it was a bit confusing. I loved the characters and the romance, it was very insta love, however I am happy with that as the book is short so I expected it. I loved the fierce, clever and independent main character, Jessamin. I loved swoon worthy Finn, and even Sir Bird. The pace was so fast and something was always happening. I loved it!

I love these kinds of dedications authors do for us readers🥰

Looking forward to this, it has magic, mystery and romance! Really need to get out of the habit of buying books because of their cover 🥰😱

I bought this book because the cover is gorgeous. Luckily the book is good.

Gorgeous cover and overall a good story. Nothing really ground breaking, but not horrible either.
