(Also it's a great song). https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=y6Sxv-sUYtM This is a non fiction picture book. It is vibrant and I think that the photographer deserves a lot of credit. He captured many people of different cultures, sizes and ages. This would be a fun way to start the week with my students in a joyful way! #ucflae3414sp17
panI didn't care for the song, but thought the book might be different. It wasn't. The book is the lyrics of the song accompanied by kids dancing which is cute, but the lyrics make no sense. It might be a fun book for kids, but sentences like "happiness is the truth" are misleading. It feels as though he is saying you need to be happy, and for some people being "happy" is extremely difficult. (Continued below)
