I ended up liking the story but it was a little boring during the middle. I was intrigued with the background mystery. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thanks, @JoeMo , for these great picks for my December #TrappedOnAnIsland ! They were both exactly what I was looking for this month. Sweet romance stories, lovable characters, festive snowy settings, holiday celebrations. Everything I want in a #DecemberFluff read!

I adore this series. I always know what I‘m getting when I pick up a RaeAnne Thayne book. This 5th installment features Marshall, the injured town sheriff, and his neighbor Andie, who is helping Marshall out with food and housekeeping while he is on the mend. I love revisiting the characters from previous installments and the setting is to die for. Ms Thayne‘s books are perfect palate cleansers after difficult or heavy reads. Love love love.
First #AestheticallyMatched photo prompt complete! Snow covered cabins!
Just getting started on what will probably be my last read of 2021. What‘s your last book of the year?
I've been MIA lately from Litsy and miss being here. I hope to catch up soon. It's been a bit a crazy time lately.
But I did finish this light-hearted read this weekend. I needed an easy read and I have been loving this series. It's a nice family romance with nothing more than a few kisses. Loved the kids.
Turning in my #WinterGames Bingo card! Not quite full, but did complete seven bingos!!

Another lovely addition to this series. There was a little bit of mystery around this one that kept things extra interesting. Worried about myself because I am starting to be familiar with this town's Christmas traditions! :-D

It's a winter wonderland!!!
Amazing how a couple of inches of snow softens everything. ❤️
PS Targets are set up for our pellet guns. All the fun of target shooting without the obnoxious noise 😁

3. Turned around and there's Kon Tiki, one of my dad's childhood favorites that I still haven't read!

This past year I learned that I #lovetolisten to audiobooks. For some reason I had refused to give them a chance in the past. I walk everywhere and have found that audiobooks are the perfect accompaniment. I tend to listen to memoirs or romance as they are easier to focus on and hoopla has a great selection of both. #17booklove

You just can't go wrong with RaeAnne's books. I adored this one. Andie and her kids are the perfect Christmas gift for Sheriff Marshall. 😍❤️
I am not a romance reader, so while this wasn't exactly my style, it felt like reading a Hallmark Christmas movie. Cheesy, predictable, but heartwarming, cozy and familiar. I think anyone with a loved one in the armed services would identify with this novel and it was a nice break from my normal choices. I am actually interested in picking up others from this series to learn some backstories. Read well as a standalone too. (Clean romance)
