It feels like all of my non-fiction library holds came in at once. Not that I‘m complaining! I LOVED American Eden! The writing was wonderful and the subject was captivating. The bottom two books were less engrossing than I‘d hoped.
Just starting this, but already I‘m enjoying it!
This was really good! Creepy and engrossing...a reminder for me why I don‘t tend to read dark creepy stories often. I kept getting stress-queasy! The ending wasn‘t quite as great as I‘d hoped, but still a good autumnal read.
I‘m still pondering my rating. I wasn‘t a fan of the ending, and started to feel a bit uncomfortable with the mostly secret correspondence about halfway through. But I was very intrigued by where things were going and I love letter format.
I stayed up way, way too late last night, reading this in one big gulp. It was so, so worth the missed sleep!
This book was fascinating! It had a bit more of a Christian bent than I expected but otherwise, I really enjoyed it!
That car rider pick-up line life! Hoping to finish this book tonight.
Just started this one and already engrossed!
This book. THIS BOOK. I am still reeling from all the ups and downs. My eyes are puffy from crying loud enough my husband kept asking if I was okay. I am still trying to process my thoughts!
I finished this last night, and it was horrifying but totally unputdownable. I kept reading even as my stomach hurt!
Who knew such a short book could make me laugh, sob, and make me green with envy?!
This was super short, so short that I‘m glad I didn‘t pay for it. But it was worth a read.
This book was the perfect hammock read! I loved the mysteries, the time periods, the family dynamics, and, of course, Kate Morton‘s beautiful words. I‘m so excited for her new book later this year!
My husband patted me on the leg as I was finishing this last night because I was crying, the full on snot-dripping kind of crying. Such a good story, full of friendship and shenanigans and heart and family! 💙🥚💙
This was the perfect story for yesterday‘s rainy day. Moody and captivating, I didn‘t want to put my kindle down until I finished the final page. I highly recommend this one!
I finished this yesterday and immediately shoved it into my husband‘s hands. It‘s that good. But also, the last chapter is a little fear-mongering to me.
I finished and just felt meh. Short stories are so hit and miss for me.
Birthday gift cards were burning a hole in my wallet!
I waited four hours after the Girl Scout cookies invaded my house to open a package. I think that shows incredible self-control, don‘t you?!
This was hilarious and gave me the warm&fuzzies!
I‘m loving this book, but this letter made me teary!
I‘m still not 100% sure how I feel about this one. I almost DNFed after that first page. It‘s not a feel good book for sure, and yet I kept on reading. Like I said, still not sure how I feel about the story, lol.
Wow. This was horrifying and also insanely engrossing.
First book of 2018! This was slower paced than I expected, but I still really enjoyed it.
Book 125 for the year! Also pictured are the shelves my husband and kiddo made me for Christmas!
This was amazing! The photographs, the stories, all of it!
This was really engrossing!
The first 40-50% was hard to follow with all the POVs, but the last half I couldn‘t put it down!
I can already tell this is gonna make me cry.
I️ couldn‘t get past the first five pages. Super old dude and barely legal girl, plus pooping in a box. Just. No. And the format...not the book for me.
Last night‘s date night means a rare Saturday morning kid-free reading time. 💕💕
You‘ll find me binge reading holiday romances for the rest of 2017. 🎄🎅☃️
Still not ready for this series to end!
A reread, because the Kowalski family is my go-to when I need a comfort read. In weird news: I read this for the first time in 2013...on the exact same day I finished it this year. Completely unplanned.
There are not enough stars for me to show how much I LOVED this book!
