Well, this is happening 😳
Well, this is happening 😳
Woke up to this this morning. Our first snow ❄️. It's time for winter tires on my truck.
❄ Only from a distance. If I'm warm, dry and cozy inside, then I love it. If I have to go out in it, not so much.
❄ Drinking cocoa, sitting in my recliner with a good book.

It can snow for all I care today; not going anywhere. I will show the stuff I got both in my stocking and under the tree later. #letitsnow #christmasday
This book is basically a Hallmark movie in book form, which was exactly what I was looking for on these 90+ degree days with the world being ugly. I never watch Hallmark movies or read books like this, but it was a lovely, although predictable, escape from my news feed.
4⭐️ While the book was sappy at times, it actually was a nice, lighthearted story; a pleasant surprise. #2020 #fiction #christmasfiction #romance #contemporary #bookreview #bookstagram #wintergames2020 #readnosedreindeer +41pts

This is your typical cheesy Hallmark movie book. A curmudgeon old landlord raising the rent and the shop owners getting together to change his mind. And lots of romance. Everyone‘s determination to get a husband kind of annoyed me but 🤷🏻♀️
#BookSpinBingo block 5
#AVeryMerryBingo - hallmark movie worthy
I‘ve officially read more books than 2019. 160 books read this year (158 in 2019)
This was a cute story about a toy store owner in Nantucket.

Very Hallmark movie-esque. Cute but a little to PG for my mood.
Here is my December #BookSpin and #BookSpinBingo list

Bring on December! #WinterGames2020
I'm not a cold weather person. “Let it snow” is not something you will ever hear me say. I don't like snow, and ice, I don't like cold, I don't like winter. But I do enjoy reading about it! And I really enjoyed this feel good heartwarming story.
I didn‘t enjoy this one as much as I have other Christmas reads... #holidayread #tbrread #wintergames #teamnutcracker @Bookworm54
It is one of the better Christmas love stories I've read. Most masquerade as something else. Or they have a protagonist who is a strong independent woman living in a city, who don't need no man... Then she gets stuck in a small town for three reasons: family, work, snow storm. She meets a man, falls in love, and realizes independence and the city are overrated. This book is honest/sweet https://onthebl.org/2019/12/06/let-it-snow-by-nancy-thayer/
I‘m enjoying my rare downtime with an ARC and Luna *tic* after working 80+ hrs this week.
