Aaaaalright, I adored the Meg series until Vostok. I hated that book. It takes place between this book and the one before. While Nightstalkers IS better, the references to Vostok killed it.
I am disappoint.

This is a review for Meg:Generations but it‘s not in the database. It was a wonderful book. Exactly what I expect from Alten, full of marine biology goodness and eye rolling scenes! I love it!! And then the ending. I literally screamed WHAT THE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING!??!? I‘m going to need the next book (please be one!!) real soon!!

More sharks for the summer!
And I may have placed another order today. I have a problem.
This is the last lazy day I am having before #BFC starts tomorrow!! My goals are to work out 3 times a week, write in my planner every day and to read no less than 10 hours a week. I‘m so excited to be doing this with my team and we are going to crush this!! @Hestapleton @BethM @Exbrarian @IndoorDame @LauraJ @StayCurious @Ifw.lia
1. My heavily frosted back yard.
2. Mostly. We are an hour from anywhere, but I do love the countryside.
3. MEG: Nightsalkers had so many different kinds of prehistoric sea creatures to challenge the Megs. It was a fun read.
4. In the evening.
5. We tried a new BBQ place while shopping this evening.

Another MEG audio book down, and only one more to go. I really enjoyed this installment in the MEG series. More creatures, more danger, old guys in mini subs fighting prehistoric sperm whales with lasers, alternate realities, and so much more! This book had it all. I'm ready for the next one.
3.5* Okay, this is not my favorite of the series. I got a headache from rolling my eyes back into my head. The writing seems a bit rushed and...messy and the general handliu of characters we know and enjoy seemed sloppy. That said, it's still really enjoyable. I flew through it. There were some tears and some anger even. It's a must read for anyone who has enjoyed the rest of the series.
@thegirlwiththelibrarybag I KNEW my self imposed hiatus from sharks would not last long. I just bought Primal Waters. Now I only need Nightstalkers to have all the Meg and Loch books; and I think #bookoutlet has it in stock. Persephone is not amused. #catsoflitsy
This is my least favorite of the series so far.... but it‘s still plenty of #shark fun... I just wish the subplot connecting this to Vostok wasn‘t part of it... but hopefully the next one is better!!
It‘s a 4/5 🐙🐙🐙🐙
I loved this book but I have to give it a 4/5 because of a couple of repeating tropes, not sharks eating people, I expect that in a shark book. However the same thing happens A few too many times. However these are not main story points, it‘s still about Sea critters and Science. So I loved it! Excited for #6 to come out later this year and starting The Loch that has the back story of another Character in this series.
@tpixie it‘s a midnight blue. I‘ll take a picture out in the sun tomorrow and see if it will show up better but I am in love!! 😍😍😍 thank the universe for #audiocoloring or this would have been a very boring day!
I got my nails done today and then went to the gym. I‘m all noodley and ready for a book and bed! #helloweekend #rawr
Tons of maps, had trouble picking just one! Maybe not as beautiful as maps in a lot of other books, but helpful to understand the places spoken about in the book! #mapsinbooks #somethingforsept #sharkbooks #septphotochallenge @RealLifeReading
This book picks up where the fourth leaves off, which is different than the rest of the series as each book typically has years between them. I love "the sisters," belle and lizzy. This was supposed to be the last book but there will be another! Can't wait until the original in the series is a movie
