Day 18: Monster #ChillingPhotoChallenge
I used to terrorize my little brother by telling him I was turning into this Zuni Fetish Doll from “Trilogy of Terror” whenever he annoyed. All it took was me saying, “I‘m turning into THE PUPPETTTT!” He‘d run screaming. I‘d get grounded. He turned into a independent horror movie director 😂 #YoureWelcomeBro

#ReadingResolutions
Fascinating and well-drawn graphic nonfiction about the history of photo booths. I love the intersection of a very narrow history of one particular thing, combined with an author's personal history and good art.
I was planning to get some reading in before I head off to work at 1:00. That plan changed when I opened my email and found this from Shutterfly! Seeing how I haven't printed any pictures in 10 years, my morning plans have changed. Think I can get 10 years worth of pictures downloaded to there site by midnight??? I'm going to try my best!
My prime day score was this comic about photo booths that's been on my wish list for forever.
Started this in November; finally finished it. I loved LONG RED HAIR a *lot* so came back for this one, which has a lot to say about both photobooth history and the ways hobbies can stop being fun, at least for a while.
This image is from a not-great thing that happened BUT I want to start replying to more compliments with "I'm just a normal person from Canada."
(Also, realized I could count this as nonfic about technology for #ReadHarder !)
What happens when all the graphic novels you put on hold at the library come in at once...
Didn't know what to expect when I started reading this but am so glad I did. Who knew the history of photo booths could be so interesting!?
