In the hopes of charming you into overlooking my lateness on my points, @Clwojick here‘s a super fun knitting pattern. I accomplished 25,035 points for 2nd half #wintergames for #teamevergreen -I got a total of almost 53000 points over 20 books! Not too shabby.
Even though I'm terrible at posting I loved the inspiration to read lots of holiday books and lots of non-holiday books. Tagged was my last read of the year (bc Murderbot). Thanks, team!

He pledged his allegiance two hours ago, now he's reading the tagged short story. I'm proud of the man I've raised.

Just a few pages, but great.

Murderbot before All Systems Red. Murderbot hates planets, hates interacting with humans, just wants to watch Media. Unfortunately the humans around Murderbot might start killing each other any minute now.

4/5⭐ You would think snack-sized scenes of the same “Murderbot helps someone despite itself“ variety would become tiresome, but nope. Nope. Just pure serotonin.

I‘ve been reading short stories on my kindle the last couple of days. I enjoyed all 3 of these.

In the tagged Murderbot grudgingly rescues a human after a stupid accident. I love hearing them grumble and list statistics of how dumb and dangerous humans are!

The others are in the newest Amazon collection, free short thrillers with some relation to technology. I liked both but they are a bit disturbing. 😱🙂📚

1. Bahaha. I was doing great on readalongs and all challenges except read harder before this month (was even considering lapping #pop23 for something to do!) but being away from home made me crave something comforting and I‘ve just been binging Murderbot for the past couple weeks instead 😅😝
2. I guess Murderbot on repeat is my new jam… but really, I think I‘ll actually manage #booked 2nd quarter‘s sub and then catch up on the rest! #two4tuesday

TheSpineView Love Murderbot! Thanks for playing 1y

I decided to re-read the Murderbot Diaries before the newest one, and this free, very, VERY short story is a good prequel to the kind of adventures a security unit who has hacked its governor and is stealthily a free agent has, saving people, but without orders too, usually with orders not to, and how to accomplish that and not be sent back to be “repaired”.

Eyelit I just recently reread the series as well! I need to read the two short little snippets readily available on the web now 🤖💜 4y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @Eyelit This one‘s just a minute or two read, but I still enjoyed it. The new book (short story) just came last week, so I decided to re-read the series before I read that one. 4y
Daisey I haven‘t seen this one yet! I‘ll have to look it up. I read Fugitive Telemetry last week and thoroughly enjoyed it! 4y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @Daisey It‘s a very short story online, a bit of a prequel before book 1. Here‘s the link: https://www.wired.com/story/future-of-work-compulsory-martha-wells/ 4y
