bailedI don't know what it was with this book, the .ain character seemed like they lacked self confidence in themselves and an understanding of what got them in this situation in the first place. I am gonna bail on this and we will see if I pick it up later.

#FFFS waking up to this beautiful box of books and goodies has really set the tone for today. What a beautiful and wonderful box. I wonder if I can read The Skull Throne without having read the first three books?! Hmm or maybe I'll go shopping for the first book. Thank you @sharread for this beautiful box. It was wonderful.
pickThis was one of those addictive reads. Couldn't put it down, but I didn't care for the ending. I wanted a concrete ending but it was missing some information, a cliff hanger. The story starts out Petal, and Sean have been released from the Unit (jail). You slowly learn about what they did by reading a past timeline. The story centers on Patel. The author really put herself into the character's heads, that's what I enjoyed the most. #BookSpinBingo

We went upcountry today. Had a scrumptious lunch at the Kula Bistro in Kula on Maui, Hawaii-- the crabcakes panini, a Bistro specialty. My son had espresso creme brulee for dessert but I opted for the lighter lemon mascarpone cake. Saw the cutest little free library while driving around Kula. Also checked out the Surfing Goat Dairy, & the Ocean Vodka Distillery & gift shop.
Now time to finish reading #OneMoreLie by the pool!
