As a cat lover, I was excited to read this book, This book wasn't exactly what I was hoping for, in terms of that. It's very, very scientific, wish isn't to say that it's a bad read, because it isn't-- it just wasn't exactly what I was looking for. The author has studied cat behavior for over 30 years, and definitely makes a point that science just hasn't studied cats in the way they have done for dogs.

Between our visit to the very crowded neighborhood pool on opening day, grocery shopping, a 🏋️‍♀️ and chores, not much reading happened today. 😟

My TBR stack. I'm inclined to pick something lighthearted from this stack. Something in my soul is still reeling from my HDM reread.

Well written and full of good science. I loved this book and it made me completely rethink how I interacted with my cat.
